In another world, a young man, dressed up like a heroic knight ready for the upcoming battle, entered a room filled with teenagers and young adults sitting at a round table. The young man noticed the empty seat next to a young lady he's familiar with. He went to the empty seat and grabbed it.

The young lady looked in the eyes of the young man, 'hi Jeiko, how are you?' she said.

'I'm fine, Venusa,' Jeiko said, 'by the way, you look lovely today,' the two teenagers smiled at each other, not noticing what was going on around them.

'I hope you love birds can postpone your never-ending unanswered romance, because I'd like to bring this issue to your attentions,' a tall Warrior guy said, sitting in the largest chair of the round table. Jeiko and Venusa blushed and quickly faced the Warrior.

'Gee Simon, you could have been more subtle,' Jeiko said.

'So you admit you like Venusa?' a blonde girl asked, grinning and sitting next to Simon.

'S-shut up, Aini,' Jeiko said, covering his blushed face.

'Take it easy on him, Aini,' Megas said, a golden Warrior said, sitting next to a suit of armour and a tall, brown-haired half-elf.

'CAN I HAVE YOUR FREAKING ATTENTION!' Simon's yell caused people to tremble and Jeiko's hair to raise as if he was becoming some hot-blooded teenager from a Japanese animation.



'Lately, trouble is going on in the world,' Simon said, 'especially on earth and second-earth'. 'According to Messiah, many people are possessed by demons, isn't that right, Messiah?'

The suit of armour stood up; its eyes glowed red, observing the room around it.



'Almost,' the suit of armour said, 'I think this is the work of Archos – however, the people are not possessed by demons.



'What do you mean?' Megas asked, looking up to Messiah.



'Most people think that Archos' main ability is to control the minds of spirits and living beings. However, Archos' main ability is to make people face their deepest, most painful and most negative thoughts – which results in people thinking so negative, so nihilistic, that people lose their sense of compassion, optimism and morality.'



'That might be the reason why the murdering, sexual violence and suicide rates have gone off the charts,' Jeiko said.

The group was quiet; they were trying to imagine how much suffering is going on, but the silence was broken by Megas standing up, slamming on the table and saying, 'but even so, we must do something!'.

'We can't,' said Simon, 'the police told us that we must stay out of their business. If we don't, we'll be seen as vigilantes and give aura wielders a reputation that's worse than it is already.'

Jeiko stood up, pointing and looking at Simon as if he did something wrong to Jeiko, 'you call yourself a fucking leader?! You have the right to act like you're the boss of us while the one who inspired us, the one that has saved this world thrice, is sitting at our table?!'

Jeiko stormed out of the room in a rage. Megas wanted to follow Jeiko, but was stopped by Messiah, 'let him be,' Messiah said, 'in the meanwhile, let's think of a legal way to stop this problem.'



Jeiko was sitting alone on a bench, enjoying of his lunchbox full of apple pieces. However, his face was grim and spiritless.

'You can get really crazy sometimes, Jeiko,' Venusa appeared in front of Jeiko.

'Sorry,' Jeiko said, 'it's just… forget it. You wanna sit next to me?' Venusa nodded and sat next to Jeiko.

'Say Venusa, can you remember why you joined the group?' Jeiko asked.

'Well, at first I did it because I need a job, you know,' Venusa said, 'but when I realized how much fun I had being with the group and helping people – even when the rewards were small, I stopped seeing my work as job but as-'

'a part of your life?' Jeiko asked.

'Sort of, I guess,' Venusa said, smiling at Jeiko – causing Jeiko to smile and blush.

'When Megas and I founded the group, we had all these crazy dreams and thoughts, thinking that we might become great heroes – maybe even Heroes of Aura,' Jeiko said.

'Well, Messiah has joined our group since its return on earth, so that kind of makes us Heroes of Aura, right?'

'Even so, I just feel like crap. Lots of people are suffering, the police can't handle all these cases alone, and I can't do a damn because our 'almighty leader' is too afraid to help others.'

'Simon is just trying to do the right thing, Jeiko,' Venusa said, 'by the way, weren't you the one that always said, 'there are lots of ways to be a helper, a guardian, a hero to people'?'

Jeiko laughed, grinning at the thought of him saying that, 'yeah, that's me.'

'However, what can we do to stop this chaotic havoc?' Jeiko asked.

'Well, it's not that we're forbidden to help people or protect them – the police just wants us to stay out of their investigations.'

'And even if I can't protect everyone,' Jeiko says, he looked at Venusa, placed a hand on her shoulder and said, 'I hope that I can at least protect the people I cherish the most.'

'That's sweet,' Venusa said, smiling at Jeiko – which made Jeiko smile as well.

Jeiko and Venusa heard the sound of people, screaming for their lives as if they were attacked by someone or something. The noise was coming from the back; the boy and the girl quickly stood up and looked behind them.

Their eyes and mouth went wide open, 'holy shit! What's a freakin' 100 feet Mecha doing out here?!' Jeiko didn't think when he said that. Venusa was speechless and shocked; she couldn't believe that she's seeing a 100 feet tall, humongous, piloted robot. Jeiko isn't familiar with the Mecha design as it certainly doesn't look like a Mecha Aura Hero or the Mechas that the military uses. It's face wasn't human, but dragon – the Mecha's head even breathed fire and gas.

People were running as fast as they could while Jeiko and Venusa just stood there, frozen.

Jeiko raised his hand in the air; energy gathered around his hand and formed a sword that he could wield. Jeiko charged towards the Mecha, ignoring Venusa's pleas, 'Jeiko, what the fuck are you doing! You're getting yourself killed!'

Jeiko's sword absorbed the energy, the aura, around itself with Jeiko used to fire an energy shot at the Mecha, using the sword like a laser gun.

Unfortunately, the blast didn't even gave the gigantic robot a single scratch. However, the Mecha's face turned to Jeiko.

'You think you can stop me, puny human?' the Mecha said, 'wait a minute, you're an aura wielder!'

The Mecha walked towards Jeiko, shaking the ground with every single step.

'I was ordered to eliminate every single being that wields aura in this area. However, you're attack didn't even gave my Mecha a bloody scratch!'

Jeiko clenched his teeth while trembling at the same time, 'why are you attacking innocent people?! And where do you come from, anyway?!' asked Jeiko.

'I like to see fear and hopelessness in the eyes of men and women. By the way, only an aura wielder, a potential threat to my world, would resist and fight back. However, you're just a pesky fly. You're not a real threat, but you're still so damn annoying!'

The Mecha raised its right foot, trying to squash Jeiko with it. However, the foot was quickly blocked by Venusa's blade.

'Get away, Jeiko!' Venusa's sword couldn't take it much longer for the Mecha's foot was too heavy and strong for the blade.

'But I can't leave you, Venusa,' Jeiko said, 'you are no match for him as well!'

'I know,' Venusa said, panting and trembling while her sword is almost about to get torn apart, 'but I don't want you die here! So now, go!'

Jeiko reluctantly nodded and ran as fast as he could.

However, Jeiko stopped when he heard a voice saying, 'you're weak. You can't even save the girl you have a crush on.'

Jeiko looked around him. No one was around him.

'I'm still here,' the voice said.

'Who are you? Where are you?' Jeiko asked.

'You.'

Jeiko's eyes widened, 'no that can't be! Am I schizophrenic?'

'No, this is you, thinking of your inner thoughts - your true self,' the voice said, 'poor Venusa, she hasn't even got her licence yet. You never got the chance to kiss her, either. Oh well, maybe she has kissed someone who's better than you – maybe even fucked, perhaps?'

'Shut up!' Jeiko yelled at himself, grabbing himself by the hairs.

'Look at yourself in the mirror, Jeiko, and tell me what you see?'

Jeiko was silent; he didn't utter a word.

'Oh well, let me just say it to you: YOU ARE A JOKE! People treat you like a pathetic child because you're weird and have problems with being social. You're a 16 year old, whiny teenager that can't do anything good. I mean, you suck at sword fighting. You suck at aura wielding. You suck at writing. You freaking suck at life!'

Jeiko still didn't say a word back; he slowly fell to the ground, feeling utterly helpless and devastated. Is it true? he thought. Is he really unable to do something good – not even able to help his friends? Jeiko just kneeled on the ground, shaking, trembling, getting drowned by its own despair.



'Are we giving up now, Jeiko?' another voice said.

'Megas, is that you?' Jeiko asked.

Megas pulled Jeiko up.

'How are you feeling right now, Jeiko?'

'Well, I feel terrib-'

Before Jeiko could finish, he was getting punched in the face by Megas.

'And now?' Megas asked.

'What the fuck was that for?!'

'Listen Jeiko, never forget this. Just believe in yourself. Don't lose hope when things get bad. Don't feel less than other people because you're great in your own right. And whatever happens, never lose spirit – never lose your fucking self respect!'

Jeiko eyes widened and he gasped, 'Megas… I'm not strong. I don't have muscles. I don't have skills. I can't even protect the girl I love the most!'

Megas pointed at Jeiko's chest, the place where his heart would lie, 'you don't need that kind of strength, Jeiko. You've got friends to back you up with that. However, you must believe in yourself and in your inner strength. Never forget that true power lies in your heart, in your freaking soul!'

Jeiko's eyes started to get wet, 'thank you, Megas. Thank you!' he tightly embraced Megas, relieving himself of his despair.



However, Jeiko realized that Venusa was still in danger, making him tremble again.

'Wait, what about Venusa?!' Jeiko asked.

'Simon and the others are currently fighting the Mecha while Messiah is trying to get our Mechas,' Megas said.

The two heard a loud voice saying, 'take this you bunch of fools! You think you can defeat one of the high generals of the Arua Empire!'

'Looks like the others are still in trouble,' Jeiko said.

Megas nodded, 'yeah, lets go!' Megas and Jeiko ran as fast as they could to the place where the battle between Mecha and aura wielders was taking place.

They saw Simon, Venusa and the others lying unconsciously on the ground.

'I thought you ran away kid,' the Mecha said, 'I mean, you were running faster than those pretty women I met last night. The show was quite a screamer if you know what I mean.'

'You monster!' Megas said, unsheathing his sword and pointing it at the dragon Mecha.

'When I get rid of you two bugs, I might get lucky with these fine women on the floor. Maybe I'll start with your girlfriend,' the Mecha was pointing at Venusa.

Jeiko's whole body trembled with rage and fear, 'don't you dare to touch one of my friends!'

'Who says I might be the performer tonight? Maybe some of my friends would like to host the show tonight,' the Mecha laughed in a villainous and downright disturbing way.



Megas charged at the Mecha, slashing and stabbing it multiple times with his sword. Megas was able to give the Mecha a scratch, but nothing more because Mecha kicked Megas with his foot. Megas was shot into the sky but quickly landed on the ground, half-unconsciously.



Jeiko rushed towards the lying Megas and shook him in the hope that he might stand up, 'Megas! Please Megas, you must fight back!'

Megas laughed and smiled at Jeiko, 'sorry buddy, I guess it's your turn now'.

Jeiko looked at the Mecha with rage and hatred.

'What're you going to do?' the Mecha asked, 'stop me? Your skills are weak and you don't have any muscles! You have no power!'

'You're wrong!' Jeiko grabbed his sword that he left on the battlefield and wielded it with both hands, 'because I got the power! I'll show you my true power!'

Jeiko's sword began to glow and gather energy.



'What do you have what I don't?' the Mecha asked.

'A heart!' glowing red and golden energy surrounded Jeiko's sword and became energy discharged by the sword's edges, transforming it into a semi-energy blade.

'Why you little!'

The Mecha started to attack; it used its foot to crush Jeiko, but Jeiko used his new found power to break the mechanical foot into pieces. The Mecha fell on the ground for it lost a leg. The ground shook, but it didn't lower Jeiko's spirit.

A Warrior jumped out of the dragon Mecha's mouth and attacked Jeiko with a katana, but Jeiko quickly blocked it with his energy sword.

'This is the soul sword,' Jeiko said, 'this the power of my immortal and never-ending soul!'

The Warrior was huge, muscular and it had an eye-patch covering his right eye.

'Your soul is maybe strong, but mine body is stronger than yours!' the Warrior quickly grabbed a knife of his pocket and flung it towards Jeiko.

The knife damaged Jeiko's barrier defence system greatly, causing him to fall on the ground and shriek in pain.

'That was a special arua knife that can be very poisonous and thus deadly to beings made of aura,' the Warrior said, 'any last words?'

'Yeah,' Jeiko said, 'drop dead!'

'Why you little-' but before the Warrior could inflict any more harm to Jeiko, the Warrior was stabbed in the back by Simon's soul sword, causing him to fall on the ground.

'Simon,' Jeiko cheerfully said.

Simon dropped his sword and pulled Jeiko up.

'I see you were stabbed by a special arua dagger,' Simon said, he grabbed a pill out of his pocket and gave it to Jeiko, 'take this, Jeiko, and you'll be as fit as a fiddle.'

Jeiko nodded and took the medicine.



Jeiko thought about Venusa and rushed to her body. Jeiko continuously shook Venusa's body to wake her up – which eventually worked.

'Jeiko?' Venusa said, 'what happened?'

Jeiko embraced Venusa while saying, 'I'm glad you're still ok, Venusa! Oh, I'm so glad!'

Venusa smiled and looked at Jeiko, 'aww, that's enough Jeiko. You're making me blush.'



Messiah appeared in front of the group; all the members turned around to see Messiah.

'Hey everyone, I've brought the Mechas – wait a minute, where's the dragon Mecha?' Messiah asked.

'Jeiko finally learned how to unlock the soul sword,' Megas said.

'Wait, you were getting kicked in the ass on purpose?' Jeiko asked.

Megas nodded, 'of course, you think I really lose to some good-for-nothing piece of scrap metal?'

Simon walked towards Jeiko, 'Jeiko, I must say that I'm impressed by your acts of valour and determination,' Simon said.

'And I'm impressed that you saved me from that monster, knowing that what you did can send you to jail,' Jeiko said.

Simon smiled, 'I've got no regrets. I would do it a second time if a comrade of mine is in great danger,' the two looked at each other while shaking each others' hand.



'So, what are we going to do, now?' asked Aini.

'Well, let's call it a day, shall we?' asked Messiah, 'I mean, it's not that we have to enter the arua world immediately and defeat them'.

'Even if we did, we might end up dead,' Megas said, 'we need to be strong enough if we want to go to the arua world. We also need more support.'

'That's why I've brought the Mechas with me! They are powerful, awesome and - just amazing,' Messiah said.

'Well, I'd like to test one of those Mechas,' Jeiko said, 'however, not today,' – his friends started laughing when Jeiko rejected Messiah's offer.

Jeiko wrapped his arm around Venusa while pointing at the horizon, 'anyway, let's go home, everyone.'

Jeiko and his friends didn't know what the future is going to bring them, but they knew that they must fight for their future, their destiny – and the fate of their world.
